Examining the Relationship Between Financial Literacy and Saving Behavior Among Generation Z Using Simulated Data

Perilaku menabung pada Generasi Z menjadi isu strategis seiring meningkatnya akses produk keuangan digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji hubungan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku menabung dengan mempertimbangkan sikap keuangan, efikasi diri keuangan, dan tingkat pendapatan/uang saku sebagai prediktor tambahan, dengan mengacu pada kerangka Theory of Planned Behavior. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data simulasi (n=320) yang dirancang menyerupai karakteristik responden Generasi Z dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda pada SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan keempat variabel berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku menabung (p<0,05), dengan literasi keuangan sebagai prediktor terkuat (B=0,362). Model menjelaskan 30,8% varians perilaku menabung (R²=0,308; F=35,08; p<0,001). Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan literasi keuangan berpotensi mendorong perilaku menabung yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini diposisikan sebagai studi pengujian kerangka model (proof-of-concept) menggunakan data simulasi, sehingga hasil ditujukan untuk memvalidasi struktur model dan bukan untuk generalisasi empiris terhadap populasi nyata.
