Abstract

 An organization is formed to achieve a certain goal. Organizational goals can be in the form of improving customer service, meeting market demands, increasing product or service quality, increasing competitiveness, and increasing organizational performance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Putrasean Rubber Industri. The research method used is a quantitative research method, using Partial Least Square analysis techniques. The population in this study were employees of PT. Putrasean Rubber Industri as many as 77 people, with the technique of determining the sample is saturated sampling so as to get a total sample of 77 people. The results of this study indicate that partially the leadership variable (X1) can improve performance (Y), as well as the work discipline variable (X2) the results are able to improve the performance (Y) of Employees. This can be seen from the results of data processing which states that the T-Statistic value of the two independent variables has a value greater than 1.96 which is 3,651 for the leadership variable and 2,239 for the T-Statistic value of the work discipline variable. Because the T-Statistic value of the two variables is greater than 1.96, it can be stated that the leadership and work discipline variables have an influence on the performance of the employees of PT. Putrasean Rubber Industri.
