Study of the Role of Fishermen's Wives in Improving the Family Economy in Salumpaga Village, North Tolitoli District, Tolitoli Regency. This study aims to determine and analyze the role of fishermen's wives in improving the family economy in Salumpaga Village. This research is narrative with a qualitative descriptive approach. Sources of data in the form of primary data, namely data obtained through observation, interviews and documentation are closely related to this research. Data analysis techniques use the interactive theory of Miles and Huberman with data reduction, conclusion drawing and verification. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the role of the fishermen's wives themselves are of several types, including selling snacks, bridal make-up/make-up artists, selling side dishes, owning a kiosk and being a village official as well as a Koran teacher who gets the minimum gross income of Rp. 1.350.000.- maximum Rp. 9,000,000 - they work individually, there is no business run by a fisherman's wife together with two or more people like a home industry. In general, they can help meet the basic and basic needs of their families and some have been able to meet their additional needs. This means that a fishing family whose wife works can help the family's economic needs.
